Quickstart guide for TUM coming Dec 20th.

I've been working on Those Under the Mountain, my dwarven colony sim ttrpg for over 6 years. Finally, I'm nearly finished the quickstart for the newest iteration fo the game, the one I want to share with the community. The quickstart goes live, for free here on Itch December 20th.

TUM is half trad ttrpg and half base building worker placement game. It uses a cycle of in-game weeks and a pool of labor points to mine, build, craft, and advance the fortress. After the build phase, events befall the hold, and must be resolved using good old fashioned roleplay and math rocks. Shared goals, and inhereint investment of the players make TUM unforgettable, and it caters to a wide aray of playstyles, uniquely including cozy gamers and non-combat player characters.

This is a love letter to Dwarf Fortress and the OSR, while blazing an identity of its own.
